Rule 9
Recruitment of Armed Police Service
: (1) The following posts of Armed Police Service will be filled as follows:-
(a) To General Group, General Sub-group :- By promotion through open competition (1) Armed Police Attendant or equivalent 100% – (2) Armed Police Constable or Recruit 100% – (3) Armed Police Assistant Constable – 100% (4) Armed Police Constable – 100% (5) Armed Police Senior Constable – 100% (6) Armed Police Assistant Inspector 60% 40% (7) Armed Police Deputy Inspector – 100% (8) Armed Police Senior Deputy Inspector – 100% (9) Armed Police Inspector 60% 40%(10) All posts above Armed Police Inspector – 100%
(b) General Group, towards Law Sub-group :- By promotion by open competition (1) Inspector of Armed Police 100% – (2) All posts above Inspector of Armed Police – 100% (c) Towards General Group, Accounts Sub-group :- By promotion by open competition (1) Armed Police Senior Constable 100% - (2) Assistant Inspector of Armed Police 60% 40% (3) Deputy Inspector of Armed Police - 100% (4) Inspector of Armed Police 75% 25% (5) All posts above Inspector of Armed Police - 100%
(d) For Technical Group :- By promotion through open competition (1) Armed Police Constable 100%-(2) Armed Police Assistant Constable-100% (3) Armed Police Constable 60% 40% (4) Armed Police Senior Constable-100% (5) Armed Assistant Inspector of Police 60% 40% (6) Deputy Inspector of Armed Police 75% 25% (7) Senior Deputy Inspector of Armed Police – 100% (8) Inspector of Armed Police 75% 25% (9) All posts above Inspector of Armed Police – 100% < br> (2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (9) of clause (d) of sub-rule (1), at the time of creation of the post of deputy superintendent of armed police for health of the technical group, if there is no candidate with special educational qualification specified and no potential candidate to fill such post by promotion, such post Can be fulfilled by open competition.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in this rule, open competition for inclusion in the Armed Police ServiceForty-five percent of the posts to be filled by will be allocated and the percentage will be considered as 100% and the posts will be filled by separate competition only among the following candidates:-
(a) Women – Twenty percent
(b) Tribal/Tribal – Thirty two percent
(c) Madhesi – twenty eight percent
(d) Dalits – Fifteen percent
(e) Backward Areas – Five percent Explanation:
(1) For the purposes of clauses (a), (b), (c) and (d) of this sub-rule, “women, tribals/tribals, Madhesi and Dalits” means economically and socially backward women, tribals/tribals, Madhesi and Dalits; Must remember.
(2)   For the purposes of this sub-rule, “backward area” means the districts of Achham, Calikot, Jajarkot, Jumla, Dolpa, Bajhang, Bajura, Mugu and Humla.
(4) When determining the percentage according to sub-rule (3), if a coefficient (fraction) of less than one percent comes, such coefficient will be shifted to the next community immediately after that.
(5) If there is no application for the post allocated according to sub-rule (3) or if the required number of candidates fail to pass, the required number of posts cannot be filled, the number of posts not reached will be included in the posts to be filled by open competition of the same year.
(6) For the purpose of filling the post according to sub-rule (3), the details of economically and socially backward women, tribal/tribes, Madhes and Dalit communities shall be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette. But don't set it that wayFor me, any woman, tribal/tribal, Madhesi and Dalit community will be considered economically and socially backward.
(7) When submitting an application for a post allotted as per sub-rule (3), the following evidence shall be attached:-
(a) For tribals/tribes certified as tribals/tribes by Nepal Tribal/Janjati Upliftment National Foundation,
(b) Certified as a Dalit by the National Dalit Commission for Dalits,
(c) For Madhesi, they must be certified as Madhesi by the organization specified by the Nepal Government by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette. (d) For backward areas, it is recommended that permanent residence in the district mentioned in sub-rule (3) and obtaining a citizenship certificate from the respective district and permanent residence in the same place till the time of submitting the application from the concerned village development committee or municipality.
(8) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, two percent of the vacant posts to be filled through open competition will be filled from among the descendants of immortal armed police and disabled armed police personnel who have met the minimum qualifications as per this regulation.
(9) The Commission shall determine the number of posts in accordance with this rule for filling up the vacant posts of the Armed Police Service.
